Welcome to our lovely nest! Going to start a blog just for our house. Let me share some of the pictures with you. These are all the "BEFORE" photos and hopefully by the end of 2 months we will see a wonderful transformation into nice "AFTER" photos!
This is our Balcony, linked to the living area. We will be hacking down the doors, to make the balcony as part of our hall so that we will have bigger space for the hall.
Our passage way leading to all the bedrooms and studyroom. The white wall at the foreground is the study room which will be hacked down to enlarge the space of our living hall, and to create a cosy area. Why are we always trying to enlarge our house??? Are we suffering from claustrophobia? Of course not, we just prefer our house to look bigger.. you know how small are HDB Flats now...
How will our future cosy area look like? Take a look at the shape of our study room and you will roughly know the shape.
My favourite place, i know i will love it here as this is our master bedroom! Can't wait to put a bed there... ZzzZzz, i know i'm such a pig!
The lovely kitchen, one area that will be transformed into another heaven... Cant wait to see the kitchen island... its a big project for the kitchen, hack down the service balcony wall (which is actually a pillar) and to level the service balcony ground with my kicthen floor... To get this done, we need to have HDB approval and hire a Professional Engineer just to hack down the walls. More $$$ involved... so the designer better do a good job!
Since so much time, money and effort has been placed into this house.. we shall revamp the toilets too!
